In the Autumn of 1998, Jon & Catherine began work on a photographic image project in Ireland and in Northern Ireland. Jon's family has its roots in both countries. His search for his Grandmother's village became a photographic pilgrimage and his intense interest in Irish history and culture has blossomed into several gallery shows and a book published by Rizzoli entitled "The Irish File: Images From a Land of Grace"

Both Jon & Catherine learned their craft in New York City. Jon has photographed all over the world for an international roster of clients like IBM, Royal Caribbean, Audi, Sony, Canon and Coca-Cola to name just a few. Catherine became a producer while working for the multimedia firm Caribiner Inc. in New York. Later, they both teamed up and ran a busy production studio at 12 East 37th Street in Manhattan. In 1991 they moved the entire operation to Asheville, North Carolina. Now, they both divide their time between the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and the mountains in the West of Ireland, places like Connemara, West Clare, Kerry and West Cork.
